In reply to Mr Bramston's letter of the 6th instant I am directed by the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury to request that you will inform the Secretary of State for the Colonies that My Lords are glad to find that a copy of the "Narrative" of the Cruise of H.M.S."Challenger" is available for presentation to the Hong Kong Observatory, and that directions will be given to the Controller of the Stationery Office to forward it to your Department for transmission to the Governor of Hong Kong.
